Wayne Rodgers, previously the minister for the Eastside church of Christ in Maryville, TN for a little over 5 years. Wayne and Cindy have been married for 30 years. They have 2 sons, both married and Piper their granddaughter is their 1st grandchild. Wayne has been preaching for 28 years and is a part-time instructor for the Fishers of Men ministry and Director of programming for the Scattered Abroad Network. Wayne also co-hosts a program on Gospel Broadcasting Network called WHAT WOULD YOU DO IF? with Michael Clarke. His podcast: MEET ME AT THE MOUNTAIN airs every 4th Sunday on the Scattered Abroad Network. Wayne's education is from the Memphis School of Preaching and Amridge University. Wayne left local work in June and the Eastside congregation in Maryville TN to do stateside mission work partnered with the Memphis School of Preaching. It is called 416 Ministries (from Eph. 4:16) “edifying the body of Christ in love.” As 416 Ministries, Wayne and Cindy are traveling the country helping congregations in areas where they are weak, lacking or just needing to be built up. Part of the work in which they are involved is preacher retention… helping preachers to keep preaching (2 Tim. 4:1-5).
