About me
Melissa and her husband Scott moved to Memphis, TN, in February 2022 to work with the Forest Hill congregation. Before that, they served with the DeGaulle Drive Church of Christ in New Orleans, LA, from 2009-2020, and then with the Mercedes Drive Church of Christ near Tuscaloosa, AL, from 2020-2022. She is an active personal worker, dedicated to studying with individuals to strengthen the faith of the saved and reaching out to the lost. She has participated in mission efforts in Hungary, Italy, and Mexico (loving every minute minus the flights). Melissa is also an instructor of preachers' wives on the topic of marriage at the Memphis School of Preaching. Her favorite all-time role is getting to be Scott’s best friend and helpmeet, closely followed by the gift and joy of being a mother to their three sons: Walker, Tanner, and Hunter.
